The fine print
Terms of Service
Last updated · July 6, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Opsis (the "Service") operated by Opsis ("Opsis", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you are using Opsis on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and the words "you" and "your" in these Terms refer to that entity.
1. The Service
Opsis watches your real users, detects broken flows, and verifies findings with automated checks. After you connect your analytics source with OAuth, Opsis imports recent session replays, detects signals of broken flows (rage and dead clicks, console errors, network failures, checkout abandonment), analyzes them with AI, verifies findings with Opsis MCP in a real browser (video, trace, screenshots, console and network logs), and produces reports with copy-paste-ready fix prompts.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account. If we learn that someone under that age has registered, we will delete the account.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at admin@heyopsis.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
- One person or entity may not maintain more than one free-tier account to circumvent plan limits.
3. Connecting your analytics source
Connecting uses OAuth with minimal read-only scopes. Opsis never asks for your API keys. You can disconnect at any time from the dashboard, which revokes our access upstream (best-effort) and deletes the tokens we hold. Session imports run when you connect a project or when you trigger an import from the dashboard.
4. Your responsibilities and representations
- You own the connected app and project, or have the owner's permission to connect them to Opsis.
- You ensure your app has a legal basis for recording analytics and session replays (consent banner, privacy policy) under the data protection laws that apply to you and your users.
- Automated checks interact with your app the way a single real user would — clicking, navigating, and submitting forms on the URLs involved in a finding. If you do not want verification traffic on production, point Opsis at a staging environment.
- You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information you provide to Opsis, and for any content or data that flows through the Service as a result of your configuration.
5. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not:
- Connect projects and apps you are not authorized to analyze.
- Use Opsis to probe, load-test, scan, or attack systems you do not control, or to circumvent another service's security or terms.
- Attempt to access other customers' data, or to interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of the Service.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except to the extent applicable law prohibits this restriction.
- Use the Service to store or transmit malware, infringing content, or unlawful material, or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Resell, sublicense, or rebrand access to the Service without our written consent, except as permitted by a plan designed for that purpose (e.g. Agency arrangements).
6. Your content and reports
"Your content" means the session data imported from your connected project, the findings Opsis generates from it, the reports, and the verification artifacts (videos, traces, screenshots, logs). You retain ownership of your content. We process it only to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Terms.
You grant Opsis and our sub-processors a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to access, process, and display your content solely as necessary to operate and improve the Service for you. This license ends when you delete your content or close your account.
7. Our content and intellectual property
- The Service — including the Opsis name, logo, software, detection logic, AI prompts and tuning, user interface, documentation, and marketing materials — is owned by Opsis and protected by intellectual property laws.
- The copy-paste fix prompts Opsis generates are provided to you to use in your own codebase; Opsis retains no claim over code you write by applying them.
- These Terms do not grant you any right to use the Opsis name, logos, or trademarks except as needed to refer to the Service factually (for example, "built with Opsis").
- We welcome feedback and bug reports. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without restriction or compensation to you.
8. Plans, trials & billing
Opsis offers a free plan and paid subscription plans (Pro and Team). Paid plans start with a 3-day free trial: you provide a payment method at checkout and are first charged when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance, per workspace, in USD, and renew automatically until you cancel. Checkout, invoicing, taxes and refunds are handled by our merchant of record and are also subject to its buyer terms. You can cancel anytime from Account → Plan → Manage subscription; see our Refund Policy. Current prices are on the Pricing page and may change with notice.
9. Modifications and interruptions
- We may update, add, or remove features of the Service, or change plan limits, with reasonable notice. Material reductions in a paid plan's core capabilities during a billing period will be accompanied by a pro-rated refund option.
- The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access, and we are not liable for downtime, data loss, or issues caused by factors outside our control (including your connected analytics source's outages).
- We may schedule maintenance windows; we will give notice where reasonably possible.
10. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Opsis provides evidence-based findings and recommendations, but does not guarantee that every bug will be found or that findings are free of error. Fix prompts are suggestions. Applying them to your codebase is your decision and your responsibility — review and test changes before deploying. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Opsis disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
- Opsis does not modify your app and has no write access to your code or your connected project.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Opsis be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
- Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD $50.
- Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Opsis and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your content or your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any law or the rights of a third party, including end-user privacy rights in the session data you import.
13. Termination
- You may stop using Opsis and disconnect your analytics source at any time. You can request deletion of your workspace data by emailing admin@heyopsis.com.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, or that remain inactive for an extended period, with notice where reasonably possible and as permitted by law.
- On termination, your right to use the Service ends. We will delete your data according to the retention schedule in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Opsis operates. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection or data-protection laws in your country of residence give you a right to a different forum. Where mandatory consumer or data-protection laws apply to you, nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have under them.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement: these Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund Policy, and Data Processing Terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Opsis regarding the Service.
- Severability: if any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
- No waiver: our failure to enforce a right or provision is not a waiver of that right.
- Assignment: you may not assign or transfer these Terms without our consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business.
- Electronic communications: we may communicate with you electronically (email, in-product notices). You agree that these communications satisfy any legal requirement that they be in writing.
